I went to the art festival in Leesburg. It was so much FUN! This was my first festival ever!!! It turns out that you need to bring your own tent and display accommodations. I learnt about that at 5:00 p.m. the day before. Such a rookie I am!!! Anyway, we went to Michaels to get bunch of display easels at 7:00 p.m..
It was raining cats and dogs out there on the day of the festival, and of course, I did not have a tent. Almost everyone had a tent. It was pouring so bad that artists opened their tents in the garage. Well, I am sure no one was thrilled about displaying their master pieces on a rainy day. Guess what, I was so happy! I did not have a tent and I could still look half-way decent in the garage. After all, "it is not that I had not been prepared, it was the weather" (wink wink).
I am new, I am green. Well, at the very least, green is environmentally friendly.
My paintings have been selected to be on display by the Arlington Public Library from January 2 – February 23, 2018. More detail will come as we come closer to the event. I could not wait to share my good news :)
